The Simpsons should not get the axe man. That is crazy talk. 24 should get the axe. I hate shows where you have to see every friggen episode to understand anything that is going on. Law and Order is just done in my eyes.
Sitcoms need to go. They really need to cut it out with the studio audience. Nobody likes a laugh track! I like the New Adventures of Old Christine, but seriously no more laughter.
Entourage is a horribly boring show. That main character could not have less star quality. They might as well just make one about Jeremy Piven's character. HBO is critically acclaimed, but not that great. In fact, the Sopranos should have ended. It was not only offensive to real Italian-Americans, but again boring.
The game shows have to stop. Deal or no deal is so friggen annoying. And now there is National Bingo Night - where everyone on the show is foreign - what is up with that?
And finally, the bane of my existance, the Apprentice needs to be axed, chopped into tiny bits, shredded, and erased from everyone's memory. I cannot think of a better example of how people should not be living their lives than that show. Being a greedy, selfish, rude, often horrible person to the world around them is not the kind of values we should be encouraging with TV. Screw Donald Trump. If I was born rich like him I would have done something noble with my life instead of letting greed take it over.

Both my wife and I are retired. We watch too much TV, I know but my wife is partially blind and can't read.
Back to the question asked---when we look at the TV guide all we see are the same shows over and over. First they are on one channel then move to another. Again I digress.
A vast majority of the shows we see listed should be dumped. Why can't they have more shows that have some substance to them. Ever the learning channel has crap. The history channel keeps on repeating the same shows. One day's listing is just like the day before and the next day. We are sick of it.

Law & Order, Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, ER, All reality shows, Deal or no Deal, Soaps, Scrubs (loved the show but I think it's time), The Tyra Banks Show, Judge Judy, Divorce Ct., Hate Chris, CSI, Martha, Award Shows with the exception of the Oscar, Name is Earl, wait I have to get my TV guide.

They should make a channel for ALL sports.
Including Motor racing.
Star Trek...sorry, for all the fans out there.
BUT DO NOT cancel Charmed or The Simpsons

Are you kidding me??? The Simpson's is the best show ever! if you canceled that the world might come to an end or something. Oprah is long over do to be canceled or Jay Leno but the Simpson's is not!!!

forget it pal there not gonna cancel the simpsons ok they need 2 cancel that stupid show girlfriends and americas next top model on cw. the also nee to cancel american idol bc everybody only watches the audition and thats it,the view, the maury show is has the same show line everyday, the montel show should of been cancel and last but not least my sweet 16. that show is so stupid bc u got the kids thinking just bc there parents got money the can be all that. man give me a break

oh lord there are just so many....what happened to good tv?? remember back in the day when it was worth turning the tv on? especially on a saturday morning. i could do without a few of the reality shows, like the bachelor and survivor. as far as talk shows go, im sick of the view, maury, all those stupid raunchy ones with absolutely no point.
what they need to do is bring back the good tv shows from when we were kids

Simpsons bye bye but the reality shows and talk shows are good. I hate the Survivor series and any like that.
