Mine spies on us through her bedroom window, everytime I see her she talks about "Oh I saw you leaving with this, you musta been going here" What the hay am I supposed to say to that!?

She always calls over to help her take the millions of trash bags, she makes my mother go out to get her groceries and the other day she actually asked my mom to stand in line and get her cold cuts! She does'nt pay my mom for the groceries and she's always calling over asking if we have a mop or the tv guide...she has no disability, no problems physically because she's always outside gardening or going out to visit her mother, she calls the boy down the street to mow her lawn and shovel her driveway...GRRRRR♥

Yeah, the people next to us have a hound or something that's never left the deck. I don't even know why they have him, he sits out there all day and night crying. But that's not so bad.

My mom feels bad because she's a widow and she has no friends, which is why she does all this stuff.

My neighbor mows his grass every time we are having a get together outside, even if the grass hasn't grown. We have a privacy fence which is nice, but still, he just wants to be a prick

Wow, that sucks, I am sorry to hear that.

My neighbors are from hell. The mother is a drug addict/prostitute, has 5 kids all by different men. She doesn't work or watch after her kids. The oldest boy seems to be the normal one out of the family (I don't see him much) the daughter on the other hand is a bad seed, she's 13 and has 2 kids and is pregnant again, does drugs and gets in fights. she poisoned my pregnant dog. Three youngest boys are trouble makers and terrorize the neighborhood.

My husband and I just moved into our first house on this nice, cute, quiet street. That is until the neighbors across the street and their 20 children (I have no actual idea how many there are) come outside. Then all hell breaks lose - the kids start crying, screaming, and fighting with each other. Then the parents start screaming too and swearing at them. It's an awful display!! My goodness how do people live like that!!

Anyway that's my neighbor horror story.

I am blessed to have really great neighbors. Is your neighbor an elderly woman?? If so, you may want to consider that she is lonely. I've found that the elderly often get abandoned by their family and don't have anyone else to talk to, visit with them or help them out. They don't necessarily have to be disabled. Now, I think she should pay your mom for the groceries but it quite possibly slipped her mind. Maybe next time your mom could hand her the receipt as she gives her the groceries and say, just get that to me as soon as you can....or something like that.

This is just my thoughts from experience....it may not be the case in your situation. But good luck though.

Um, you and your mom need to stop being walked all over by this woman. Just because you are neighbors doesn't mean you are connected for goodness sake. Just say good morning and keep walking. No more grocery store...you mom is just too busy. No more anything - you are just too busy to be able to help...ever.

My neighbor is just one of those loud ones - gets home at 12:30am yelling across the street to one of her 'friends' and stuff like that. A flick of the porch light stops all that.

My neighbor comes home around 9:00 at night! He will come speeding down the road to his house with his music so loud you can hear the words to his music with his doors closed and the windows to his vehicle! Then he will sit in his truck in his driveway for 30mins still listening to his music really loud were we can hear it from inside are house which is next door to him! Then when we tell him about his music late at night he will say, "Oh sorry didnt know it was that loud." He is very rude and annoying!

i hate that. its like the neighbor in ALF. anyway, my neighbor is the son of our previous neighbors, who were horrible. all they did is curse, and they stole so many things from us.... like movies that are hard to replace, like gumby and the original sleeping beauty, sweaters, and small objects. their yard looked like trash lived there, which is true. they had a pool with a big gray fence around it, like a jail. the water turned black after they moved. but before that, they had vandalized our house and broken so many decorations, and stole our plastic $50 light up santa. when they moved, they took their mailbox, and the bed of their truck had their bed sitting on top, made and everything, with the pillows there, strapped down. when they left the pool it turned black, around the time when west nile was really bad. it was a breeding ground for mosquitoes. my mom had to call the town, and had to pour olive oil on it-that stops the mosquitoes from breeding. then spanish ppl rented there after a guy bought it and rented it out. they moved not even a yr ago, and now the oldest son of the father of the ppl who used to live there originally is renting. everyday there are so many ppl there. we dont even know which guy is the guy renting, lets call him bob. all we know is that bob has a black pickup that is only there for an hour or so a day. there is a huge fat kid there everyday. he blasts the pounding music so that our house pulses to the "beat" of that crap music. when i asked him to turn it down he got pissed and gave me a nasty look and blasts it even louder now. there are constantly losers there with baggy pants, bandanas, and giant solid t--shirts that they are swimming in. they yard looks even worse than it did before. i just want them to move! what makes it worse is that bob was arrested for either robbery or armed robbery no more than a few years ago. needless to say we have an alarm system now that we have on at all times.

Go over to her house unannounced with lots of your friends and start preparing a meal. Do it very casually as though you live there and do this sort of thing all the time. If your neighbor objects, tell her to go to her room until she can calm down. Make a joke at her expense (some reference to "the rag" will probably go over well). After you eat, get drunk with your friends and break some things (accidentally, of course).

You may only have to do this once.

One neighbor never mows their lawn. It was literally a foot tall before they mowed it last time. That only makes one time since spring!

The other neighbor (who I actually like) is totally OCD about his lawn and it is always perfect. He mows 2 or 3 times a week.

Oy vey!

Once my crazy neighbors put an entire box of coco puffs in the oven and turned it on then proceeded to fan the stench out into the hall (in our apt.) during a wind storm that was blowing up our stairwell and keeping the smell from leaving our hallway and my apartment for hours.
