No, Allen Greenspan (former Chairmen of the Fed) said Social Security was failing in the late1980's. President G.W. Bush was the first one to try to repair it ... with no avail.

From a financial advisors perspective, it appears that I'm best suited to have a series of "mini" retirment instead of saving like Ebonieser and then dying before I get to spend my personal retirment savings. As such, I can use an IRS loop-hole to start getting retirment money out at the age of 49.5. Sure, I'll have to go back to work ... but at least I won't die rich ---- Use it or loose it Baby!

No I don't think I'll get anything. I'd be retiring in 2042 if the retirement age stays 65, but I don't think it will. I think we're gonna have to suck it up, retire later, and not get social security. There's just not going to be enough money.

No because LAZY people like my mother who claims to be disabled becuase she is a crack addict are using up all of the social security.

Better not be relying on it as your sole source of income for retirement, that's all I have to say.
