whats the difference between this 2? when i add no-repeat to my background image , image doesnt show and thers an error? is is better to place a background image or image for div tags

"background" is just a shorthand property which may include several background elements including, say, color, image, background-image-repeat, background-image-attachment, background-imageposition

Some values may be omitted, in which case they assume their default values. For example:
background: #fff url("somethin.gif") repeat-y right top;
specifies an area with a background color that is white and a background image of somethin.gif that is loaded in the upper-right corner and repeated down the right side of the screen. If the image doesn't load at all, then the entire area will be white...

looks advantageous in my browser "Firefox 2.0" Ah I had to scroll all the way down to work out it. Why do no longer you utilize a div tag and positioned the history photograph in that and place it a the backside of the web page using fastened positioning.
