My husband is six years younger than me.
He acts older, I act younger, so we meet in the middle.
The age difference only comes out when I turn the station when certain classic rock tunes come on. He thinks they're cool, I don't want to be reminded of junior high. And every now and then there's a tv show that I remember watching as a little kid, and having certain attitudes connected to that show, and he doesn't remember anything about it.
But for the most part, we get along really well. It's only when my brothers do the math and figure out he was in sixth grade when I was a senior that it gets weird. As long as we don't think about it, we're good!

Well it depends. The facts show that the happiest couples are those that are close with in age. That way, they will get old together, retire together, and have the same interests.

How old are you? If you are 17, we have a problem...If you are 30, than 6 years isn't a problem at all.

1) If you're both Consenting Adults. 2) If it's acceptable to you two ...

then blessings.

Relationships work better with equality, balance and mutual respect.

Personally, I date no more than 10 years older or 4 years younger, but those are my preferences. You decide what works best for you.

It depends on your actual ages, particularly your sweetie's age. Not that liking them is unacceptable. It's just that the age determines what is appropriate regarding the nature of the relationship, how you express your feelings.

If you are both over 18 yes it's ok. My g/f and I are 9 years apart and we've been together almost 6 yrs. It can work!

As long as both of you are over 18 then everything is hunky dorey. Personaly i'd never date somone that much older *or younger* then me but that just me. But its perfectly ok. You can choose whoever you want to date, if it obeys the law, i don't think anyone can tell you its not right or not ok.

age is irrelevant when it comes to love. Just be careful if your age difference span across the magic number 18. Society draws stupid lines that can get you in trouble.

My partner is seven years younger than me and we have been together for over 20 years. The older you get, the less it matters.

Both of you have to be of legal age. If not it is a felony. If you are then be careful and make sure you are both looking for the same thing emotionally.
