Fashion designer / tailor and, eventually, clothes shop proprietor; actually I think she's a little embarrassed about my total lack of interest in what shoes go, with what waste coat. I'm just too regular looking ... y'know, when I was young she would hide me away in a cupboard - actually that last bits not true, perhaps I have some Freudian attention issues due to having a busy mother ... hmmm?

Mine is a homemaker, but really it just means she works for my Dad, since he's self employed. He's a Lobsterman and she helps do whatever needs to be done on land, like getting bait, picking up equipment, painting buoys and stuff like that. They also own rental homes and so she does a lot of painting, wallpapering, showing homes, moving things, and designing remodeling plans, etc. She also taught swimming lessons part time for many years. She's a Jill of all trades.
