So Gerry was in London yesterday and a thief had it off with his wallet. Sadly his wallet contained treasured photos of Maddie. The press today are reporting the thief to be a callous person of low moral standing. Wonder if the thief lost has lost his four year old daughter after leaving her alone whilst nipping out for a quick drink and some grub at the pub.

Brit plod there is a problem here. The Mc Canns don`t sem to think they did anything wrong in leaving the three kids alone in the house that night. The reason no one is showing sympathy to them is because they won`t stand up and admit their mistake. Oh and the fact that they won`t show any emotion over the abduction of Maddy.

Scorpionbabe A conspiracy theory. Fantastic. I like your way of thinking.

Philomena called the thief an animal and said Gerry was distraught. Don't recall the word distraught mentioned when Maddy went missing.

Anyway who puts their wallet in their back pocket. I don't believe a word of it.
There profile was dropping a bit if you ask me.
But then I do need medical help it seems.

The person who took the wallet does what other people who takes wallets do....he took the money and then binned the wallet without even looking at the photos....

Does the press describe would be bombers of low moral standing? They might have just said the person was black...

or the wallet was never lost and will turn up next week written in Gerrys blog....

Today I have my wallet it was lost on the plane and soneone forwarded it to me??

It is bad luck, but I am doing my best to resist the jokes that spring to mind.

Yes, the thief is a callous person of low moral standard, pick pockets are, but I don't think it was a deliberate anti McCann thing.

I also do understand the point that you are trying to make. The McCann's do seem to get tremendous favouritism in the press (as well as other areas)

Judge Judy has a great line - you cannot come into court with dirty hands...
I think it's a bit like that with Gerry McCann expecting sympathy for his wallet - it's a bit rich in view of what's been happening.

Oh and by the way Plato - the preceding line to the one you quote is:
Accipere quam facere praestat injuriam -
Better to suffer an injury than to cause one - pretty apt in the circumstances, don't you think?

We only have his word that the wallet was taken. Is he doing it to pull at the public's heartstrings? He lied about Madeleine's disappearance so maybe he's lying for publicity? How come he is more upset about some dumb photo's? Her beautiful face is plastered everywhere. The whole situation is sad no matter what anyone says. Poor Madeleine.

You know they do owe the world an apology for misleading and for being so obnoxious. Also i believe they owe the Portuguese police an apology for differing versions of events which lead to that horrid delay which as we know the first 48 hours are crucial in finding a missing child .

Also they have no emotions whatsoever. .yes i agree with brit plod to some extent but surely by now even the strongest will in the world would be showing cracks by now .

I am somewhat amazed he seems more concerned about his wallet and his meetings ..It beggars belief and it is those actions which are cold and calculated which are sounding so many alarm bells

Who's to say he didn't just lose the wallet has there been actual proof that the wallet was pinched?

I lost my purse in my local park once, I accidentally dropped it whilst I was rummaging in bag for something else. unbeknown to me I started walking away, it was only when someone tapped me on my shoulder and presented me with my purse that I realised what I had done.

In fairness to the thief, he or she probably didn't know that it was Gerry McCann as he or she swiped the wallet out of his back pocket. Any cash or cards would have been taken out quickly and the wallet chucked in the bin very quickly. They hardly stop to admire pictures etc.

Anyway, like they're going to have a conscience. My Mother In Laws mum got burgled last week. She's 90, whilst she was fast asleep they took stuff out of her bed side drawer.

Scum.

As much as i dislike the Mc Cameras i think whomever stole those pictures should have the decency to send them back, even if its to a local paper.
He says he was at an ATM when they were taken, but my sources say he had lsft the wallet on a bench while he went just 200 yards down the road for something to eat and a pint. I wouldn't have done that because i think that my wallet would have been taken. Saying that i would'nt have left my kids either, have they never head of take away food.

Brit_plod: what they need is prosecuting. If he had been some unemplyed moron (as opose to an emplyed moron) he would be on trial now for neglect.
