Sorry, but maybe the old broken dishwasher represents yourself. That's how I felt without mine. I told myself (& others that would listen) that "I am not a dishwasher, a dishwasher is an electrical appliance!" Well, my hubby said if I could find one for under $200 he would buy it for me & I said I already did find one under that price for brand new. He was shocked & actually bought it for me. Life has never been simpler & I'm a happy camper. My kitchen is so much easier to keep clean. Trust me, invest & you'll love it! Enjoy.

That's funny, that you dreamed about a broken dishwasher... I never had a dishwasher of my own and now that I have a family I couldn't live w/o it.. At first I was a little shocked at our electric bill, but after some "tweaking" on my part it's well worth having one.. I run my dishwasher at night on time delay and I only run it every other day.. This really saves on electricity. Believe it or not.. I also, use powdered drink mix to clean my dishwasher once a month instead of expensive cleaners and I buy Electrosol Tabs w/ jetdry ball at the wharehouse club 85 tabs for $6 and that lasts me about 3 months... Once you have one you can't live w/o it....

It's nice to have sometimes. If you do get one, be sure to get one that can clean dishes without your having to wash them first. But you should also be aware that even the best dishwashers don't do as good of a job as someone doing dishes by hand.
They'll leave crap on the dishes sometimes, and when you get your cups or bowls out, they'll have water in the top even if you use the hot air dry setting. And a lot of dishwashers are loud.
They're really nice to have when you have people come over, and need to wash dishes afterwards. You're tired after entertaining guests, then just throw the dishes in the washer and let it sort things out.

My mother always said dishwashers were for the lazy. Makes sense since I have one. haha.
Honestly I suggest it but do not cheap out on the detergent.
I thought hey it all works the same- Not even close!
There's these little packet ones with some gel and the rest is hard and they work wonders!!!
Also some washers have water saving options- those don't clean as well but they're good if you already have pretty clean dishes.

Everybody should have a dishwasher.
Girlfriend do yourself a favor and add several more hours to your life, get the dishwasher. You don't want dishpan hands anyways.

I love my dishwasher. I recommend Maytag - they are the best. One with a garbage disposal built right in so you don't have to rinse the dishes.

I would get one without a doubt. I dont have one but every one else in my family does and it is so much easier to do dishes. You dont have to have your hands in water all the time. Just pack it up and turn it on and there you have it clean dishes...........
