When you get a best answer do you thank the asker for giving you the best answer?

Or do you just think to yourself that oh well my answer was good and I deserved it and that's that?

i have been receiving thank you's lately that made me think of it. i always felt gratitude, but never thought to send out one. now that i do, i have actually been going back and trying to do that same thing. it's nice.

Usually I try to give the asker a star for their efforts or when an answer is given I know it is then I try to give them a positive rating with a thumbs up and one point to the good.

I sometimes send an email but I have often wondered if people thought I was just a­ss kissing or it was annoying to get emails from some random person because some rude people don't respond to my thank you's. Do you thank people? I have never received a thank you for a best answer.

If they have e-mail, access. I do send `em a thank you note. Then I ask them to not do it again. I don't want that hideous Orange Badge, blocking my cute, adorable Avatar. Privately, I wonder how intelligent they are. For giving me Best Answer.

For the most part I do thank the asker, I sometimes forget though.

I have never gotten thanked, and I almost always choose a best answer.......so I wasnt under the impression that was proper Y!A ettiquette.

Sometimes I do. The place to look is the comment box or your 360. Say are we hooked there?

I usually do not specifically thank them. I do appreciate my best answers very much.
