welcome to reality.. just because the people who own major media outlets are rich doesn't make them republicans!..
Most of the news outlets are owned by corporation, which trades publicly. Which means people own it.
Why are they liberals?. because liberals thrive on getting sympathy creating victims. with out creating victims, there is not news. If there is no news, well.. no news papers..

I'll grant you that your point about reporters is true.
If you want to actually make your case, you'll have to find out where editors and owners donate. The reporters don't determine how the story will ultimately be written or where (or even if) it will run.
If you provide similar evidence about owners and editors, I'll concede your point---but you won't be able to. The mass media are largely owned by very wealthy conservatives.
