Lester is being brought along slowly cuz of the cancer. I think they can start Snyder or Gabbard if they need to

Lester is not done. He is most likely going to take Schilling's spot in the rotation. Hopefullt he'll get back to the level he was at before he got cancer. He could be one of the great lefties in the league. I dont think they will make a trade for Zambrano at the deadline. The Cubs will be asking for more than the Sox will wanna give up.

We survived just fine when Beckett was out on the DL and we will do the same here with Schilling. Gabbard can fill in nicely if Lester can't make it up the big leagues. They don't want to rush the kid. They want to stretch him out and get his strength back, before bringing him up. What makes this team great this year is the depth. One guy goes down, another guy picks him up.

Tough hill to climb for Lester but the Schilling issue is not serious. I really do hope that Lester can come through all of this with flying colors, everyone says he is a good guy.

How can LEster be done if he hasn't pitched yet? Let's see how he does first. The rumor is he will be called up to replace Schilling.

Carlos Zambrano might be available near the All-Star break, but the Cubs will want a lot in return. But the BoSox will need another ace for the postseason and Big Z should be a good fit.
