I just posted a question not too long ago about this subject, but here's my story:
Met a guy in high school. We boh really liked each other, but I thought he didn't want a serious realtionship and he thought the same of me. We lost contact 'cause he went to Iraq and I went to college. I later ended up meeting a man who I later married. A couple years after that, we got in touch again through our mutual friends (and after many thoughts of him throughout the years), we both let each other know how we felt. It sucked really bad. I could tell he was hurt that I got married. We actually became really good friends after that though... Until he found out he was getting deployed AGAIN. After he found out he started distancing himself from me and I haven't heard from him since he left. I'm sure we'll run into each other again one day.... It's inevitable... His friends are my friends.
