they do they go under the agitator and wind up inside the machine i've found loads of socks there. lol

Of course not. Socks eat socks. They mate while in the washing machine, and then in the dryer the female eats the male. That's how your sox disappear.

No, its your pants or sweater that is eating the socks. What happens is that your socks get stuck with cling inside either your pants or sweater. Then when you pull your clothes outta the dryer, u only find one and put it aside. Later when your putting on your clothes there can be the sock stuck inside which falls out. lmao

Sort of. They float onto the top of the load, and over the edge of the tub. They're probably on the inside of your washer, between the tub and the outside panel.

yes it's true.
and sometimes during the spin cycle when you hear it knocking really loud, it's because the machine is tired and it's throwing a tantrum.
