It depends on your mood usually if you are a lively person and you are happy with life you tend to look at it as half full, on the other hand if you are depressed and mad at the world then you think it's half empty.

Hey Girl...How ya doin' a lot of people define that question as a psychological disposition of being "Optimistic" or "Pessimistic"! I think in my opinion that it is a theory that has been incorrect for a long time. I think it's a social and Economical question between the "Haves" and the "Have Not's!

If you are a have not and have an overwhelming thirst, then the glass is half Full, meaning your thankful for what is available. If you are a person that haves everything, then it's half empty and it's not significant, because they have already had their fill. and they are not thankful or appreciative!

I don't know what do you think of that different outlook?

Depends on what was happening before this point. Did I fill up an empty glass to the halfway point? if so,, then it's half full if I poured half out then it's half-empty.

I saw a glass that was full and I was happy, then it was half full and I was ok with that, then the glass was empty and i was sad, then i got a beer and the glass was full again and i was happy

Can be either depending on which direction the situation is going. Half empty isn't necessarily a bad thing, if the goal is for the glass to be completely empty.

Call me an optimistic realist. ☺

If I started with a full glass & drank half, I would say it's half empty...if I started to pour into a glass & paused half way, I would say it's half full.

If, however, I was handed a half a glass of a nice red wine, I would simply say Yummmm! LOL

The glass is half full... The glass holds my experiences in life. When it becomes full, It will overflow and my wealth of knowledge will form a river where younger individuals will drink from it.
