Same reason you think it is necessary to talk about your kids and have pictures of them up!

How do you explain to a nine year old why one man is grabbing another man's *** in Target? Tell the kid why he is doing it! Quit being stupid people! Knowledge and fact doesn't make anyone anything but more intelligent.

My friend Chris has 2 boys-one is 9 and one is 7. They have a gay uncle. They have had every question of theirs answered truthfully. Neither of these kids are trying to hook up at the Hot Wheels racing track, or comparing who's got the bigger bike! They are also not trying to get a girl in the sandbox! They are kids, meaning they aren't experiencing raging hormones or attraction at this point.

Everything is NORMAL. Maybe explaining that to people and kids will help them to be healthier people.

Nick talks about his wife and kids at work. Sitting beside Nick is Kevin. Kevin talks about his partner to Nick. So what?!?!

Oh, so you're saying that it's not ok when 'da boys' are gathered around the water cooler on Monday mornings and talking about their conquests over the weekend?? Or when a married person has a wedding picture of themselves and their spouse or their children is also not ok??

Good, I thought so.

I'd love you to get some punctuation and grammar. I already have a room, thanks.

I don't need anyone to "except" how God made me. I just wish that 99.9% of the movies, TV, books, records, billboards, magazines etc. etc. would stop trying to push the straight "lifestyle" down my throat. Why can't you folks stop recruiting?!?!

Honey the only way we are going to gain ground and acceptance is to be proud and show whom we really are and who we love.

Granted I agree there is a proper way and and obtrusive way to do this but straight people so it all the time. It is just an everyday occurrence so you don't notice it. Maybe one day being gay will be looked upon in the same way.

Until then if you don't like it simply do not leave your abode. I seriously doubt you will be missed.

agreeing with the GAgirl, it's annoying to see anyone whether gay or straight going further than kissing, they don't have to announce their love to the whole world, then there won't be anything so special about it. i have seen that gay people try to make it more public and extremely "struggle" for this, they are guys in y!a answering each question with a very gay style, or relating to gays each time, then why don't straight male people answer them, each time to relating to a part of the female body? i have nothing against gay people but c'mon my life isn't all about being a straight guy i have a family, friends, hobbies etc., so they should get a life.

If heterosexuals rub it in our face then it is only "equal" we should rub it in theirs. How would heterosexuals like to live like us fighting ignorance everyday? God made all of us. We are all supposed to be equal. If you don't like it , ignore it like we try to ignore people like you.I personaly do not like heterosexuals or homosexuals making out in public, do it at home.

I don't do this, but if I did, so what? Do you let it be known that you are straight? Well why? It's not like it's personal or has anything do with work now does it?
Geeze....

Punctuation - embrace it; and while you're at it, embrace a dictionary and a grammar book. - - i mean come on why you be pushing your bad writing on the people in here? lol

I think they do it because they want attention. They feel they are gay, proud and should be acknowledged and accepted.
My issue with it is when they do it in public such as walking through Target. Hello! how am I supposed to explain to a nine year old why one man just grabbed another man's ***. Or why a woman is kissing a woman. Adults are all messed up ~ gay or straight ~ but what gets me is the people who are that self absorbed that they do things in public that should be left for private.
