like a runaway train...plunging ahead with no direction? Or, do you take charge and focus on what you want, letting nothing distract you? Or, is it a little of both sometimes? Thank you for answering and have a great day. :-)

It seems to be more of a situation where I go ahead and focus on what I want. True, I have had a few "runaway train" moments in my life, but usually I feel like I am totally in control and it is all up to me. Thanks for asking!!

I had a bit of focus going for me (that is, I was set to go to college, take up a major in biology, minor in astronomy, take some awesome classes like philosophy, and back up my knowledge with things like theology), until I was told I was being deployed to Iraq. So, I'd say it's a runaway train with a direction that has little say from me.

Never a runaway train (not anymore) ... I tend to be more focused, but once in awhile I'll give in to distraction-by choice ... if you don't live life to the fullest at times, you may miss out on all the glory!

I try and take charge, but at times it feels like a runaway train, but I always keep in mind that I am in control.

Maybe i am taking some train, going in one direction, straight, and when I arrive in the final station, change the train.
That's how life is, moving us from one thing to another, just to be more beautiful or hard or easy or successful or....
Sometimes i say to my self "Why this had to happen to me!? Why I did this?!" But also looking back into my life I can say anything just not that it was boring.

My train ride is nearing the end but it has been enjoyable and full of unexpectedness. I may have had some goals but would take detours to end up where I am today. A most enjoyable ride. I tend to look at the good events and try to forget the rough spots. Just me. Thank you.

My life has focus and direction. I know what I should be doing and I'm doing it. Sometimes we become pleasure seekers and this can distract us, but if you have a goal in life...you'll get back on track. Do you have a purpose in life?

I'd have to say a little of both, which isn't necessarily a bad thing

And you have a great day too :-)
