OMG, this is an on going problem here at work!...we have a tiny office, and every time it happens my clothes reek for the rest of the day!....I can't stomach the smell of burnt up kettle corn!

The person who did it should be locked in the room with the microwave until the smell is completely gone. I hate people who put the bag in the microwave for 5 minutes then walk off.

The person who burned the popcorn should be forced to stay in the kitchen until the smell goes away. Not be allowed to cook ever again.

That happened several weeks ago where I work. They had to call the fire department and call a code red, and the person who left it there to burn because she got paged, just spent the rest of the day really embarrassed. I think that's punishment enough.
