Since when?

Living in a figurative world isn't what it's cut out to be.

Personally, I find that a mixture of both is best but it's important to keep in mind that not everyone is capable of seeing things from outside and inside the box.

You got to accept the fact that some people perceive things easier when they are literal.

People generally understand that some are writing questions or giving answers for fun, but others (and most, I find) are asking serious questions and are asking for serious answers. But I think the gross questions don't need to be said on a public forum. Do you write gross things that you think are fun? Or may be fun to a certain age of people or a certain group of people? Or do you use bad words or words inappropriate for very young people who frequent QNA?

Sometimes it's hard to force yourself to make an artificial filter for how you see things, trying to see what appears to be literal into something else... I'm naturally literal, I'm lost on some jokes and find it difficult to improvise or think on my own.

So there!

Don't = Do not

Do NOT you people understand that NOT everything is so literal? Double negative.

When you say "you people" do you mean us, or a particular "you"?

When you say "not everything" do you mean "some things" or do you mean the compliment of everything which is nothing?

Yes. But now I'm assuming I shouldn't take this particular question literally.
