I live in a small town in NW Georgia. I have a 8x8 room that needs to have the floor replaced & a water heater installed. Could anyone tell me about how much this should cost? Please break down labor & materials. I'm not sure if the estimates that I've had are good or bad.

A 30 gal gas water heater installed is around $500-600 and a 50 gallon around $750.
Flooring depends on the type; wood, laminate, tile, carpet tiles, ceramic etc. $1500-1700 for the less expensive type.
Estimates include labor.
Canot give you breakout as labor rates vary in different parts of the country and union vs non-union.
Good luck

I am not sure of your local labor rate. The material is something you have control over. You decide what you want installed. Get plenty of estimates and make sure they are for the same products. Ask that the estimates seperate material and labor costs.

well the replace the flooring need 2 sheets of plywood, cost there are around 38 dollars and maybe some floor joices might need replaced so add extra 30 for material...labor with putting back base board i dunno 200 sound fair...install hot water heater for extra 75...so...anything from 250-350 would be reasonable to me.

hmmmmmmmmmmm 8x8 you say. well, for the flooring it should be about 1500 dollars and the water heater will be another 2000 both prices are the "installed price". if you're a hotty, mayby he will knock some money off if you have sex with him!
