According to PCGS it retails for about $2,600.00 but their price guide tends to be high so I would guesstimate around $2,000.00 or $2,200.00. Remember this is retail, a dealer is going to offer you maybe 60% of retail.

Sounds like an interesting coin to have.

In VF the value is $1,900, that is about what a dealer would pay. The Red Book is just a guide to retail prices and is out of date usually before it is even printed. It does have a lot of important information though. Coin Worlds Coin Values which show a retail trends price lists the 1800 at $2,500. They are usually high in the retail department and dealers usually sell under it. Going by the 2007 Red Book the 1800 very wide date low 8 is not the most valuable variety and it books for $2,450. Now it is up to you, I gave you as much info as I have.
