Would you or would you not END CORPORATE WELFARE?
Do You Want Lower Taxes? The US is the third lowest taxed country of the industrialized world. BUT, what If I told you that your taxes could be lowered, our schools, roads, bridges, first responders, emts, police, and fire departments could all receive more funding and in addition to all of that we could finance research and development for renewable, clean energy sources and break our dependence on oil, coal and nuclear power just by ending Corporate Subsidies(also known as corporate "welfare")? NOWHERE in the US Constitution is the House of Representatives or the Senate Granted the authority to use tax payer funds to subsidize business or guarantee loans. Why are these corporate GIANTS being supported on the backs of the hard-working, tax-paying Americans?

To Leah and all those who oppose ending corporate welfare: If corporations make billions in profits, what do they need OUR money for? PROFIT means that after all of their expenses, wages, etc. are paid, the corporations STILL come out that much ahead. We've tried it THEIR way, now let's try it OUR way. Give those tax cuts to the poor and working class and middle class and they in turn will SPEND that money and those companies will STILL see HUGE PROFITS. It's called Bubble UP economics not that "trickle down" bs Republicans love so much. Trickle down is a joke, they say "we're going to give the rich SO MUCH money that it will just spill out of their pockets and 'trickle down' to you little people." We're NOT buyin' it!

To Kiki: if you don't like my posts, don't read them and don't respond to them.

To Bert T: I'm sorry. You're right, but I'm just trying to reach as many people as possible.

To Leah: Big Business is making trillions, they don't NEED taxpayers' hard-earned dollars.

It is THEFT, nothing more.

Most definitely, it is a system to help ffinancially support a for profit corporation from going belly up. They actually get more then 500% financial grant funding, then people receiving yearly subsidy's.

And therefore the US congress need to talk to these people.

Congress needs to do more for the middle class more then anything else.

Here, here!

Take a step in the right direction and demand an end to the abuse of federal tax dollars going into the pockets of the rich for no damn good reason.

If you ever saw the list of pork bills that subsidized companies, you'd march on Washington today to demand laws to cut this nonsense out!

At least those corporate giants provide jobs and benefits to millions of the working class. You know, those people who want to EARN a living.

Suppose you make $50,000 per year and pay taxes on $10,000. And many people make so little money they pay no taxes- minimum wage.

A corporation makes $100,000,000, and pays taxes on $10,000,000. It's the money. Politicians work the law to collect as much money as possible.

I was going to ask you how many millions of people you employ or how many billions of dollars in health and retirement benefits you, as an individual, generate....

Then I was going to point out that posting the same question (and links) over and over and over again reeks of spam...

...But Momma always told me it was rude to interrupt a sermon...

I understand what you are saying and I agree. Eliminate the corporate lobby and ability to donate to politicians and you would end many of the programs that support greedy corporations.

Why? Because I use their services and want them around. Big Business is not evil in and of itself. It's government policies that need to be changed.
