Why do you care? It doesn't hurt you personally, does it? Live and let live . Accept the right of others to decide what's best for themselves.

And yes, I've only been married once.

I agree 100%. The more often you get married, the less likely it's going to work out. I mean, let's review the facts.....

1st Marriage: Most of the time you already have a kid with that person, but a good chance you don't have kids yet, you're in your 20's, and you're reasonably attractive.

2nd Marriage: You probably already have a kid or two or three, late 20s, struggling, and desperate for anybody willing to put up with you.

3rd Marriage: Teenage kids with alcohol or drug problems (just like you) and you're so desperate for ANYBODY to not walk out on you that getting a good beat down for not having dinner ready doesn't seem like that big of a deal. And so what if he stares at your 17 year old daughter who dresses like a slutt?

Bottom line is that marriage is SUPPOSED to be a lifelong commitment. But thanks to celebreties like Jessica Simpson and Brittany Spears, all marriage really means is a 5 year relationship that you get to kick off with a huge asss party and lots and lots of presents.....

People that do marry a few times are the one that can not live alone, I think they're afraid not being wanted by opposite sex. And there are some that will do it till they find they're true love, some will just do it for security, and yes your right there are some that's pathetic because their only thinking of themselves..

They keep getting married over and over again because they can't make up their mind. If they face a problem, they don't know how to deal with it. They don't understand that nobody in this world has a perfect relationship...there's no such thing.

Being married is quite a challenge. To celebrate again means a lot to them. And those are the only two people that it should make sense to. The wedding is for them, they just invite everyone else.

people keep getting married because they can't work out problems, and they believe they won't have the same problems with the new spouse, ha ha, by running away one never learns how to cope or work things out. people remarry because they don't want to be alone, they are insecure. they repeat the same things they did, and never learn because they always ran away instead of staying in there and working it out.

people get married over and over because they are looking for the perfect mate ( ha-ha) seriously , they cannot truly accept themself, so how can they accept another?? thats why theyn do it, it is pathetic and very selfish, and with kids involved thats real selfish, shame on anyone who does it, one marriage is enough for me, i wouldnt want to repeat my life story over and over to different husbands ( ha-ha) ill stick to my mr right and make the most of my marriage, im very happy with my life and i accept myself and my husband for who he is , id never try and change him, i love him even with some of his faults, nobody is perfect, but some dont realize it, they too think they are perfect ( ha-ha)

I don't care if people keep repeating their mistakes, but you're right, when it start affecting the children, it's time for these selfish parents to reevaluate their priorities.
