WOW!
I see some blind spots saying that the (R)'s support "Christian" values.
Do you remember the commandments:
Love thy neighbor?
Do not covet?
Don't bear false witness?
Don't have other gods before me?
Honor your parents?

It seems only adultery that the Dems don't condemn as strongly, but both parties get into that.

Dems are not anti Christian. They just realize that God is begger than the fundamentals. There are Jews, Buddhists, and Spiritual people have their beliefs, too, as well as agnostics who I find are closer to God than Fred Phelps, for example. Are you the the GOP just hasn't used the churches as a political forum by harping on about non-issues?

Correction:
Are you sure the GOP hasn't just used churches to brainwash people into supporting their big-money interests and numbing you to the plight of the poor? Ever read Jesus?

Republicans worship PROFIT.

Invading Iraq and building the largest oil refinery in the world there profits Haliburton and Unocal, so the Bush administation does it.

Wait a second though...there's a genocide in Sudan! The Christian thing to do would be to intervene and stop the bloodshed! Too bad, though, there's no PROFIT in it for us, no OIL. Oh well, we'll PRAY for them...sure you will.

I do not believe in any man, pope or president, who has the arrogance to claim he speaks for God. I detest a party that panders to religion and creates "hot button" issues like gay marriage for the sole purpose of gaining evangelical votes.

There are more similarities in the actions of Democrats and the devout than differences.

What about protecting God's green earth?

What about providing health care, housing and food for every man, woman and child in this country?

What about supporting public education? National Parks? Art? Music?

Haliburton, Enron, Unocal, Exxon. These organizations represent your Christain values?

Would Jesus approve of the Iraq occupation?

Would Jesus be glad Bush appointed oil executives to "study" global warming, then censor the scientific findings?

Would he be glad we are willfully destroying our planet?

I am is pro-education, pro-environment, pro-library, pro-improvement of the poor and middle-class, pro-universal health care, pro- intelligent leadership, pro-balanced budget, pro-working with the world, pro-humility, pro-inclusion, and pro- cleaning house of the most un-Christian administration in the history of the U.S.

Taxes hurt the poor more than the rich. The rich get more money back from tax breaks because they pay more in taxes. the poorest 30% of Americans pay no income tax at all after refunds, so how could they get the tax-break? The propoganda about tax cuts for the rich is ignorant and stupid. Educate yourselves. By the way, why is it bad to be rich and successful, I hope to be someday; isn't the fact that anyone can become so the American Dream.

Let me see. Pro life, pro gun, pro death penalty, pro Christian, anti gay rights and pro military. Anti ACLU.

Now for the reasons that I would be a Democrat. Anti tax breaks to the rich, anti corporate welfare, pro social security, pro helping the elderly, pro helping the deserving poor. So now I guess I have to pick which issues are the most important to me and vote accordingly.
The problem is that I see no candidate on the Democratic side I like. So after voting Democratic in every Presidential election since Nixon except one, I may have to change sides.
And it is very sad to me.

The Democratic Party has worked for decades to tear down this great nation, to tear down Christian values, and to tear down the Christian God, church, and people. The Republican Party has worked to do the opposite (most of the time anyways).....so I vote Republican

So how and what did they do to tear down the christian god?

I am a Christian, the Democratic Party is completely unacceptable to me as it relates to my religion (and I do not put away my God when I decide upon my leaders).

The Democratic Party has worked for decades to tear down this great nation, to tear down Christian values, and to tear down the Christian God, church, and people. The Republican Party has worked to do the opposite (most of the time anyways).....so I vote Republican.

I do not vote for the Republicans based upon their economics (although I do not believe the Democrats represent a better economic thinking either)....and I am very well educated as to economics.

I used to be a Republican because I thought that the party was truly opposed to judicial activism -- in deed, not just in word. And then came a little case known as Bush v. Gore, ......

Now I'm no longer going to vote, period.
