i just got two goldfish adn i dont have any fish food does anyone know what i can feed them ?????

adn the reason i was asking is becasue i dont have i cant go out and get food from the store so i was owndering if i could give them like lettuce or something becasue im sure in there natural habitat they dont eat dried fish food lol

Well i will say your fish can go about 2-3 days without food before they start to look unhealthy, I would but goldfish flakes for your fish though. You can try bread if you really want to feed them.

I feed my goldfish TetraFin Goldfish Flakes. You can purchase this food at any nearby petstore or at Wal-Mart. Also, you should only feed your fish a small amount of food or else if they eat too much, they will die.

Your fish really ned to be on a flake food that is digestable and nutritous for them. They will not starve to death if they don't eat for a few days so please get to a store and get them fish food. In the mean time, you can give them SMALL amounts of corn meal.

They can go several days without food, so it's not a problem to wait a day or two until you can buy them some food.

gold fish flakes its cheap and all you do is take a pinch and drop it in 2-3 times a day
