I lived with the one I loved, then I married her.... it never mattered to me whether we got married or not but I wanted to make sure she was well taken care of if anything ever happened to me, wanted to make sure she got everything she needed and got the benefits she deserved now.

I lived with my now husband for three years before we got married. Honestly, I prefer living with him married. Both were great, but I love seeing that ring on his finger and knowing that he's mine and that I'm his.

I have been living with him for 2 years now. I am happy we are getting married next year. Just shacking up with him kind of makes me feel dirty. Plus, I can't receive Holy Communion anymore until we are married, and that is very important to me. If you aren't going to get married eventually, why bother living with someone?

I'm married to the one I love and its great...it just seemed like the right thing to do. I don't understand people who live together for years and are totally commited to each other but think that getting married is gonna change it. its basically the same thing and If you think that then I think their is some deeper rooted problems....guess it makes since to them tho!

Living. I think sometimes people are tied down to a relationship thats no good and going no where because they feel bonded by marriage and not love. When you live together, theres less things tying you down and you work things out because who want it to work out, not becuase you HAVE too. this isnt true in all cases, but it happens.

Being married to the one I love ( I am). Because that way it is legal and a deeper form of commitment to my opinion.

I am married to them, because it is the biggest commitment you can make. If the paper & ring don't mean anything, why not do it. At least you will get tax breaks & don't forget wedding presents! :)
