youve got good grades and managed to graduate. makes me think youre a decent kid.
i suggest you do some research on the internet about the advantages of video games. there are many things to find. video games increase hand eye coordination. some increase intelligence and especially the new ones, they can also help your creativity along as well. im a writer and ive come up with many fantastic ideas and characters by playing video games. and you can tell them that it can play dvds and music so at least its a good entertainment system as well. sit down and have a talk with them. most of all make them understand its not going to affect your grades and your social life. its important to your parents that you grow up to be a good guy.

Calling your mom a foul call rather isn't a thank you to cajole anybody you deserve an outstanding Christmas latest. i'm able to easily think of how you flow approximately attempting to cajole them to purchase an XBox 360.

Depending on what country you move to you probably won't be able to use the x-box 360 there anyways because of the power difference. Wait til you move then buy one there. If you can't wait then get a job and buy it yourself!

I'm a mom of 3 boys. I would say your best bet is to not use those things to manipulate your parents but do things that will please them.
Be helpful around the house, be respectful, talk to them. Parents love this more than anything. If you are willing to help make their life easier they are going to WANT to reward you. And the wonderful part is that you don't have to manipulate them to do it!

Sit down and have a mature conversation about it. Point out that you are mature and you're responsible with your grades and such..
If you do all of your chores(If you even get them) Point that out too.
If they won't buy it for you ask them what you can do to earn it.

I would say try to act your best work your tiny little but off and make their lives easier and eventually they will see you really want it, but do not bug them all the time.

maybe you can convince them with a wii. Let them know that they can lose some fat from the butt and arms by just swinging them during the game.
