In my opinion, lesbian and bisexual girls should have the same proper manners and actions as any other girls should have. A person's sexual preference should not stereotype them into being either "proper" nor "improper ladies". Being proper is a must for any sex or gender and greatly shows the real person inside of them whether gay or straight. Being real and proper has nothing much to do with whether or not a person is gay. It is simply a displayed attitude of self respect.

I'm sure lesbian and bi girls can act like "proper ladies" (whatever the hell that is), but I think all women deserve to act how they like, and in a way, that is being a proper lady. One that is true to your own self. Lesbianism isn't as "shocking" as it once used to be, but lesbians are as different as straight girls are. They come in all shapes, sizes, ethnic backgrounds, so it stands that each one has her own way of behaving. Feminists are in revolt against a patriacharchal society, so they probably aren't concerned with being proper. Some are more conservative and fit into social norms, others aren't.

I don't think your sexuality will change how proper you will act in the appropriate situation. Just because people are gay/lesbian doesn't mean they are savages or anything like that... :)

Just like straights, it's optional. Whatever suits you. I try to be a lady most of the time, but there's an edge to it. And I don't bother to "dress like a lady." Tee shirts and denim skirts are my standard. (Hey, at least it's a skirt!)

as opposed to what? construction workers? Contrary to popular belief, we don't get a handbook telling us how to act. Do the straights get one? They do don't they? Just one more thing we're being denied!!!!!
