The possibilities are endless. For myself personally and foremost, I have to say Jesus. Though, as a Christian, I know I shall meet Him one day along with my loved ones who have gone to be with the Lord.
From each of these major categories as follows are people I admire for various reasons and would like to converse with, perhaps gaining a little more insight into them as individuals:
Literature: Jane Austen and Mark Twain
Science: Albert Einstein and Jonas Salk
History: Anne Frank, Any of the 12 disciples, Ruth from the Bible, and Lewis and Clark
Politics; Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill
Religion: John Wesley, Jonathan Edwards
Actors: Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, and Lucille Ball
Singers: Elvis Presley, Karen Carpenter, and Patsy Cline

King Soloman. He searched for "the meaning of life" and I've read about him in the Old Testament of the Bible. What a life he had and gained a lot of wisdom. I'd like to spend a day just talking to him. Now that would be an interesting conversation!

I would meet Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel. I would also meet some of the signers of the Declaration of Independance. I would also meet Gaileo and some of the famous philosophers in past times. maybe Albert Einstein and Ameilia Earhart. I would agree with you that I would meet my ancestors. Or people who have been significant in my life but who have passed away.

Mills Darden - He was 7 feet 6 inches tall, weighed 1050 pounds and had a hat the size of a beehive. It's said that his voice could be from 7 miles away in still conditions.

I would most definitely want to meet some of my favourite authors like Jane Austen or the Brontës, or Lucy Maud Montgomery.
