The x-intercept occurs when y = 0
Thus 6x = 9 so x = 9/6 = 3/2
The y-intercept occurs when x = 0
Thus -y = 9 so y = -9
Plot the two intercepts and connect and you've graphed the lines!

6x - y = 9
6x / 9 - y /9 =1 . . . . divide all by 9 . . make the right portion = 1
x / (9/6) - y / 9 = 1

x intercept = 9/6 =3/2
y -intercept = -9
