I believe the answer is YES (even in western countries were women have the same rights). The good new is that nowadays it's a man's world definitively less than it was in the past.

yes i would have to say we are. as penydred said most policies that are made up and doctrins and laws all have to do with men. if you look at our constitution the word women isnt even mentioned. not even in the ammendments. men here in the usa are still shovanistic women still get paid less than men in professional jobs. its only been in the 20th century where women had any rights at all where the rights to vote or such things. most people now a days wont even vote for a woman president. we havent even had one. women are still considered less than men in most countries wether Arab countries or asian countries and even third world countries. its slowly comming around but its still not quite there yet. but i do not think it will ever be equal. but it has gotten better in the last 100 years at least here in the united states.
