Evil? i will venture here and attempt answering your question..though i know your liberal mindset has already went into shut down as far as accepting a logical response from anyone...but here goes... All American Soldiers and Coalition Soldiers...are indeed brave as you have said..they deserve to be honored...and their deaths also should be honored...as the ultimate sacrifice for their country. One thing that puzzles me Though...is why you call this war Evil?..If you mean Evil on the part of suicidal Insurgent Maniacs..then ..you.have a true understanding of the Mindset the Islamic Al queda and other extremists try to perpetuate upon the world populations in general. The Evil has always been "Intolerance"..a hatred of anyone..who does not believe what they say and do comes from God. In the USA we have many Different Belief Systems...yet i have yet to see anyone of those...strapping a bomb to themselves and walking into a crowd of people and blowing themselves Up...because they have been told...they will go to Heaven...and enjoy...virgins?...to me that is Evil...to kill or murder or torture...and try to justify it as "Gods will"...is totally Evil. In War people Die...it isn't pretty but it is after all War. And ..by all accounts ..the death toll of civilians...lay squarely on the shoulders of the Islamics....they kill their own...such a people....cannot be considered "Good" by any stretch of the Imagination...i hope this helps

When you look at the price of freedom....look back in history such as WWII. The war in the pacific where Iwo Jima was manned by about 60 to 80 thousand Japanese soldiers. During the landing of American soldiers and the subsequent battle on Iwo Jima, U.S. casualties were about 20,000.

Every soul that is given for the protection of our freedoms is priceless.

With that in mind...lets determine the cost of lives that started this nonsense in the beginning....3000 INNOCENT men, women, and children in New York City! This didn't happen in a span of 5 years....but in a span of less than five hours!

Maybe instead of sitting behind your computer screen crying "foul"...write letters to your legislators providing a better solution to the problem!

Just my humble opinion!
