There is a slight distinction between using 'in' and 'at', but first clear up the other parts: '...in/at whatever stage of your life.' - 'whatever' is one word and it should be singular 'stage'.

Using 'in' implies a longer, continued time frame. Your high school years, your college years, and your time out of school before marriage would all be stages of your life that would fit with 'in'.

Using 'at' implies a more specific time - graduation from college, wedding, accepting first job, etc. These all fit 'at' better.

Both are correct, depending on exactly what you want to say.

Grandmother as above - capitals with or used in place of a name, lower case otherwise.

I am afraid neither one would be correct. "stages" is plural, so the correct way to say it would either be "at all stages of your life" or "at whatever stage in your life".

You do not have to capitalize "G" in grandmother when used as a common noun. However, you will need to write Grandmother when you use it as a proper noun and use it as an honorific attached to your grandmother's name, as in my Grandmother Victorina, my Grandmother Mercedes, etc.

You capitalize the G in grandmother if you are using it in place of a name, but not when it is the object of a pronoun. Like this:

Good morning, Grandmother!

My grandmother told me to take out the trash.

I don't think there is any rule about 'at' or 'in' a stage, but for some reason 'at' sounds better to me.

For your first question, I think either one could be correct, except that it would sound better if you made "stages" singular, so that it reads "In whatever stage of your life," or "At whatever stage of your life."

Grandmother should be capitalized only if you're using it in place of a name. For example: "I think Grandmother is upstairs."
If you're saying something like: "This is my grandmother" or "Fred's grandmother is not here," then it wouldn't be caitalized.

It is "in whatever (one word) stages of your life".

Grandmother is capitalized if the word is being used as her name as in: Do you remember the war Grandmother?
But not in: My grandmother remembers the war.

I think at or in would both work, but in makes it sound like one is deeply entrenched in (motherhood, school, old age, etc) while at makes it sound like anytime. Grandmother should be capitalized if this is what you call her as a name, but need not be if it is a description. ( In our conversation I reminded Grandmother that all would be well. She was going to attend a convention of grandmothers.)

'At whatever stages in life' is correct. Also, you don't have to capitalize the 'g' if you're saying something like, "I saw my grandmother at the store." But you do have to capitalize the 'g' if you're saying something like, "I ate pie with Grandmother Anne."

don't need the 'ever'...at what stages in your life?

only cap the G for a specific grandmother..grandmothers are great, but Grandmother Jane is great.

'whatever' is all one word; it depends on the sentence if you use 'at' or 'in'... mostly likely 'in whatever stages of your life'.
you capitalize the 'g' in 'grandmother' if it is part of a person's title or name -- "Grandmother Edna is very nice." You do not capitalize it if it is not a person's name -- "My grandmother is very nice."

It would sound much better to say "at what ever stage in your life." Don't use 'in or at' if you're going to say 'stages' Also, you don't have to capitalize the g. Hope I helped!
