whenever I try to look up the driver download they always give me a 1507 download not what Im looking for. Can anyone help?

Hello, i thing you should Google for " DGTSoft Drivers HP Update Utility" to download the right printer driver. Because it knows which drivers are suitable for your computer and there are many different drivers for all types of computers.It can update your computer system automatically. Good luck

have you ever thought of going to www.hp.com and run a search on a HP PSC 1500
i did and here is what i found

its a page full of your printers and drivers for them
or go to www.driverguide.com if all else fails

It is my guess your printer is too old and HP no longer supports it. I had a 1500. You need to upgrade anyway as that model had so many bugs and a new one is less than $100.

Go to Printers in Control Panel and press Ad Printer. HP has it there.
