Some of my favorite words have always been bumfuzzled, copacetic, facetious and discombobulated. They are just fun to say.

They violated me for using "post hoc ergo propter hoc" which is a Latin phrase describing a kind of faulty logic.

I guess using dictionary or encyclopedia is something that the tech generation doesn't do.

Here is another word I like - "postlapsarian," as in anything refering to the time of the Garden of Eden,

That's funny, years ago those words where used a lot. Shows one how time changes. I love the word persnickety, has a ring to it, don't you think, or am I being persnickety?

Have a look at Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable. It's 2" thick, and gives you enough of those to discombobulate you.

How about some throw back phrases?? Dirty bird...or good egg? Perseveres? Call someone a perseveres hoarder and watch them have a complete meltdown
