I dont see too many complaints on here now regarding the above. Is it safe to install now. I had it on several months ago and it caused me problems. What do you think.

I have Internet Explorer 7, i dont know what Xxplorer is...(unless you meant Explorer). It's pretty good. If you are used to IE 6, then there may be some learning curve. some of the buttons have been moved, but it is easy to learn where everything is after a little while. I see no problems with it in terms of spyware or anything like that, maybe it's because i have a good spyware scanner...

oh well, if you like it great, if you dont then i suggest getting another browser (maybe firefox???)

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:

You can use IE 7 if you are really comfortable with IE 6, well you see it has some features that some browsers dont' have.
I also recommend Firefox, Opera(its latest version is really good) and Netscape(a bit compramising) though.

I uprated my IE6 to IE7 a while ago and haven't had any problems - seems they have been 'ironed' out. My Plan B is that I also have Firefox installed - just in case !!!

I agree that a few months ago I.E.7 was no good. i had it and took it off. i have recently re-installed it and had no problems. it seems that all the glitches have been ironed out and it works fine.
