the bathroom rod in my bathroom looks very rusty as i have hard water can some one help me in knowing a household product that would help with this

I would suggest that you use CLR and spray it on, careful of overspray and dripping on your floor. If that doesn't work you will probably ahve ot get a new one. We have hard water and I know what you are talkinging about.

If you are able to get it to come clean, I would make sure it is dry and then if you can spray a clear shellac on it as a way to prevent anymore rust, again be careful of overspray...I would suggest putting plastic on you tub and shower wall.

If they are rusted, you are better off getting new ones.
Are you talking about the rods on your shower?
