The high point of the Harappan society was approximately 2500-2000 bce. About the same time period Egypt would have been in what is now considered the old kingdom. The Xia (pronounced shyah) dynasty would have been in power in areas of China. Babylon would have been a dominant force in the region, under Sargon. The Phoenicians' were long established by 2500 bce along the Mediterranean coast.
The Minoan and Mycenaen societies, were formulating and would come along a little later.

hope this helps

The Indus Valley Civilization ( 3300–1700 BCE, flourished 2600–1900 BCE)
Egypt
Sumer is counted as lasting from about 3500 BCE until 2000 BCE, where after other cultures, based upon the Sumerian, continued the civilization. These cultures were principally the Assyrian and the Babylonian. There are some cuneiform records indicating they traded with the peoples to the east so there may have contact with the Indus valley.
The first dynasty of kings in the North China Plain has been described as belonging to the Xia family - whose rule is thought to have begun around 2200 BCE.
Others: Minoans, The builders of Stonehenge, and the ruins on Malta, and probably others who have been less well researched.

"Harappa was a city in the Indus civilization that flourished around 2600 to 1700 BCE in the western part of South Asia."

Offhand, I'd say Egypt and China were around at that time.
