The "gaming" laws are very strict, and casino operators are not willing to risk their operating license by allowing under age people on the gaming floor. You are going to have to wait until after midnight to actually be on the floor. Sorry.

Not at all. Vegas has really gotten strict so you will have to wait until July 15th which is definitely a bummer.
I will be in Vegas on July 15th myself celebrating my birthday (over 21) .
I haven't been to Vegas in 2 years and noticed all my hang outs had been replaced or torn down. I was there for a conference (used to live there 10 years ago for 15 years) so didn't get to do any partying.
What do you suggest for clubbing? Happy 21st!

My only advice is this: If you should have "Beginner's Luck" and many do, should you win "Big Bucks", on July 14th before Midnight, you could not legally keep the money...and believe me if you win Big, someone will be there to verify all your information for the IRS......my suggestion is this: As this is wht we did when my son turned 21....we took him to Vegas as it is the Best Place in the world to turn 21, and his girl went along too...(already of age) also his sister and her boyfriend joined us there....we flew in , and got into our rooms...we ate a nice lunch, and went out to the strip, and saw the sights...boy did our feet get tired, but come dinner time we ate again...and saw all the free shows on the Strip, and we also did walk thru several casinos....by 11:00pm, we were all tired and ready for a nap, so we all went back to our rooms for an hr.....Come midnight......he was legal and we all headed out! He says it was the best birthday ever! It was also good for me as a mom, and also for his dad to "turn him loose" so to speak....his sister took him out clubbing, her boyfriend took him to a "Strip Club," he got drunk, but not too bad, and Mom and dad didn't have to worry about him driving home from a Bar.....and yes he (they) had their own room...eventually she married someone else, but to this day he says there will never be another Birthday to top it! So wait a few hours till you're legal, and then have a ball! And best of Luck on your Birthday!

No because if the gaming commission came in, and they are always around, the casino would get closed down in a heartbeat. You cant even stand by a machine with a 1 week old infant in your arms because that will get them closed down as well and a 1 week old infant cant even see the machine.

If you dont want to start off your 21st bday on a bad note, then dont do it because chances are, you will get carded and kicked out if you were found gambling in their casino. I went to vegas for my 21st bday and i waited til 12am to hit, chose a table game and got carded instantly, but I was legal by then.

Legally you would still be 20 yrs old. Unless, of course, you wait until 12 am. And I just came back from Las Vegas and those places are just getting started at that time. So, after 12 yes.

Nope. The best plan would take a mid-afternoon nap, wait for midnight, and then enjoy!

You have to wait to be of age. They will not bend the rules for anyone.

As far as anyone checking your ID, and they will, you must wait till midnight. Then the casinos and bars will welcome you with open arms. =)
