Should America give back:
the 13 colonies to England?
the Louisiana Purchase to France?
the southwest to Mexico?
Alaska to Russia?
I say NO to all four. What do you think? Why or why not? If you have different answers to the four, what is the distinction?

If people read the question, they will see I said NO to all four.
Some people have said the southwest belongs to Mexico.
I hope that my question illustrates how ridiculous that claim is.

Why would you ask such a stupid question. 200 plus years and two wars, and we are going to give back the original colonies to England. If you study history, a lot of those original colonies had not fully established their western boundaries. So what part would we give back?
And, if we give back anything to anyone, what are we going to do with the people there? I'm a Texan, and very proud to be one, so where am I going to live? If the government tried to give Texas back to Mexico, there would be a fight. We kicked their donkeys once before, and we would do it again. We earned our freedom with the cost of blood. If the US does not want us, then we can go back to being a republic. Again, study your history.
Why not ask questions that have some meaning.

No, we had men die for the 13 colonies, we bought the Louisiana Purchase, We had men die again for the southwestern states, and we bought Alaska from Russia.

The colonies fought for their independence and earned it, The other 3 were purchased form the other countries with cash. Why would we give back something we bought unless we didn't want it anymore?

The andswer is obviously - "No". Great Britain would have to give them back to the Indians and the same with the rest. Alaska to the Eskimo.
