to gain as much wisdom and knowledge as possible then teach what little I have learned to others so they may learn from my mistakes. hopefully this will help mankind be a little bit better off than when I came here.

I've been an elementary school teacher for 26 years. I've touched the lives of hundreds of children and have made their lives better in some way. If I reach a child and help him or her learn not only "stuff," but to love himself/herself and to value others, I think I did a good job. I've hopefully jelped these students grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

To enlighten people to all things spiritual : )
And instead of people living in fear, to open their minds for their own personal growth
And to grasp self responsibility and make life worth living by making a difference no matter how small it is a difference

Love & Blessings

YES --

ONE of my personal missions was to raise the children to adulthood (ALONE -- as a Long Term Single Parent) and then to let them go -- to make their OWN Decisions in life.

My SECOND mission is to talk about Domestic Violence, and the problems associated with it -- especially as a SURVIVOR of a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent ex (who is also a true sociopath), and the things that I have had to endure over the past decade and half since the divorce was finalized. I document everything, I make sure that the police reports are filed, I demand prosecution, and I speak to those around me (and those in public office) about the effects (which are lifelong) about this. I also do what I can to volunteer and donate to those programs that HELP women who also are survivors of domestic violence -- or trying to leave their abusers.

I felt the PERSONAL NEED to SERVE -- and serve I did in the Armed Forces of the United States (from which I Retired). Being 2nd Generation American, my siblings and I are quite familiar with the stories of our parents (1st Generation Americans -- and father was a paraplegic veteran of WWII), as well as our Grandparents (who fled the old country and came to America as Indentured Servants). The blessings of EDUCATION, the Freedom to move about, the Rights that Americans have, and the fact that we EARNED through our Hard Work (and yes, we all have worked very hard) our incomes and homes and our lives ... we are VERY PROUD of that dedication to service ...

Finally ... now in my Elder Years -- within reason ... it is time to begin to take CARE of the one FORGOTTEN over all these years -- the one person whom the ex looks to as an ATM (when he 'thinks' he needs more $ -- I get served with lawsuits), the person the Adult Children see as a money tree (and someone to take from as well -- there is an adult child who is a young adult and willingly helped the Ex Burglarize my home yet again in August 2006), the one who CARED too much and cared for others and IGNORED her needs ...

And that someone to CARE about at this stage of my life ... is ... ME! So my latest personal mission in life is to LEARN how to sit down for a little, to relax a little, to learn how to care for myself and treat myself a little ... and to stay as active as possible for as long as possible in life .. and I've started that full bore ... going BACK to college (once again!) to take courses, to learn NEW skills in NEW subjects, and to have FUN too.

i have one..... i think mine is to spread the word of love, peace and happiness.we can get these things that the world so desperately needs.i think one should dig deep in their hearts and minds to do so.we have so many children that doesn't even know what the words "I LOVE YOU" mean. and why???? because of the way the world has taught them.it's sad and i know that i've got a long hard battle in front of me, but i have to do it.one person or one hundred, IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERNCE IN SOMEONE'S LIFE.THIS IS OUR FUTURE GENERATION WE'RE TALKING ABOUT,LET'S START NOW.
