You will be much happier with monster mats for sure!

I think they are much better than the factory mats. They are alittle pricey, but they are much better than the mats that you get at any of the discount department stores. The mats are pretty soft and pliable. they do have to be cleaned and emptied of their water if somehow you are able to get enough water in them. The only way I can see to fill them up is to spill the entire full contents of one of those 2 gallon insulated travel mugs, or turn on a water hose inside your car. a little snow off a couple of boots will probably evaporate before it is a problem.

I think they are too expensive. They cover the carpeting completely. The trouble is you don't know if water gets under the mats. If it does, it will rot the carpeting.
I prefer using smaller mats and I am in the habit of stepping on the mats on the way in or out of the car. Checking for wet carpeting is easy.

Water slush and sand that is what they do. easily slid out and dumped I only use then when it looks like inclement weather.
