Come gather round people wherever you roam
And admit that the waters around you have grown
And accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin
Then you'd better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a changin

Come writers and critics who prophesize with your pens
And keep your eyes wide the chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon for the wheel's still in spin
And there's no telling who that it's namin
And the losers now will be later to win
For the times they are a changin

Come Senators, Congressmen please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway, don't block up the hall
For he who gets hurt will be he who has stalled
The order is rapidly fading
and the slow ones now will later be fast
For the times they are a changin

Come mothers and fathers throughout the land
And don't criticize what you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agein'
Please get out of their war if you can't lend a hand
For the times they are a changin

these songs are beautiful. the lyrics are wonderful. buy the albums to listen to the works of these artists in their entirety. it will probably blow your mind.
excuse my babbling and awful grammar.

anyway, here they are:

January 1979 by mewithoutyou

January 1979, saw a terrible crash
And it couldn’t help but laugh
My ear pressed against the pass
Like a glass on a wall of a hospital photograph
My forehead no longer sweet
With holy kisses worthy of your fiery lips
I was floating in a peaceful sea
Rescued by a sinking ship

If I could become the servant of all
No lower place to fall
(I could be your servant)
If I could become the servant of all
No lower place to fall
(If I could be your servant)
If I could become the servant of all
No lower place to fall
(I could be your servant)
If I could become the servant of all
No lower place to fall
(If I could be your servant)

You watch me like a ten car highway wreck
With a tact, bold or curiosity?
Us looking down on the tops of the hats
Of us passersby from your seventh floor balcony
And grew such a height we missed
Creatures too small for sight
Carry on over conversation as the misguided insects
Crown me their grasshopper king with a dance of celebration

After years with their crown on my head
I’m rolling over in bed unconcerned and comfortably numb
Kept busy indulging in the pleasures of the wealthy
Oh, someone make me afraid of what I’ve become!
At the first sign of possible sorrow I’ll turn my heel and run
Oh, I’ll never learn
My life’s become the sugar I’ve borrowed before
Time and again and forgot to return

Haligh Haligh a Lie by Bright Eyes

The phone slips from a loose grip
Words were missed then, some apology
"I didn’t want to tell you this
No, it’s just some guy she's been hanging out with
I don’t know, the past couple weeks I guess"
Well, thank you and hang up the phone
Let the funeral start, hear the casket close
Let’s pin split-black ribbon to your overcoat
Well, laughter pours from under doors
In this house, I don’t understand that sound no more
It seems artificial, like a TV set

Well, haligh, haligh, a lie, haligh
This weight it must be satisfied
You offer only one reply
You know not what you do
But you tear and tear your hair from roots
From that same head you have twice removed now
A lock of hair you said would prove
Our love would never die
Well, ha ha ha

I remember everything
The words we spoke on freezing South Street
And all those mornings watching you get ready for school
You combed your hair inside that mirror
The one you painted blue and glued with jewelry tears
Something about those bright colors
Would always make you feel better
But now we speak with ruined tongues
And the words we say aren’t meant for anyone
It’s just a mumbled sentence to a passing acquaintance
But there was once you

You said you hate my suffering
And you understood
And you’d take care of me
You'd always be there
Well where are you now?

Haligh, haligh, a lie, haligh
The plans were never finalized
But left to hang like yarn and twine
Dangling before my eyes
As you tear and tear your hair from roots
From that same head you have twice removed now
A lock of hair you said would prove
Our love would never die

And I sing and sing of awful things
The pleasure that my sadness brings
As my fingers press onto the strings
In yet another clumsy chord
Haligh, haligh, an awful lie
This weight will now be satisfied
I'm gonna give you only one reply
I know not who I am

But I talk in the mirror
To the stranger that appears
Our conversations are circles
Always one sided
Nothing is clear

Except we keep coming back
To this meaning that I lack
He says the choices were given
Now you must live them
Or just not live

But do you want that?

There are many songs as such,it entirely depends on my mentality at that moment, among them I guess the song "tere naam se ji lu" from the album Kailasa,by Kailash Kher is a song close o my heart, the song reflects between the emotions oh humanly love and spiritual love. When the humanly love looses its boundry of desires, expectations and materialistic pleasure,it reaches a higher level of spiritual love, where there is a no second person, and everything dissolves into one, life, love, laugh, etc.

lyrics-(monhein preet ki sood aisi laagi,
re ho gayi mein matwali,
aaaaa....lachar aur baibaas firoon mein,
hari mein dil haari.)-this is only the chorus it is a long song.

I like the reality and hope in this song from America:

This is for all the lonely people
thinking that life has passed them by
Don't give up
until you drink from the silver cup
And ride that highway in the sky

This is for all the single people
thinking that life has left them dry
don't give up
until you drink from the silver cup
you never know until you try

Well I'm on my way

Yes, I'm back to stay
Well, I'm on my way back home

This is for all the lonely people
thinking that life has left them dry
don't give up
until you drink from the silver cup
She'll never take you down or
never give you up
you never know until you try

Lead a Normal Life - Peter Gabriel Just listen to it

It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

ECLIPSE by Pink Floyd [Dark side of the Moon]

All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy
beg, borrow or steal
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
All that you say
All that you eat
everyone you meet
All that you slight
everyone you fight
All that is now
All that is gone
All that's to come
and everything under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon
