If the musician is good, I don't mind. My son plays tenor sax and loves jazz. I could listen to that for quite some time. But he's also learning clarinet. He squeaks and squawks and drives me nuts. He has to practice in the car.

I'll tell you a secret. I get turned on by latin guys (like mine), especially ones that are tall and sing on stage. Mine plays the guitar (badly) and doesn't sing well at all. Would he sing a love song to me? Never.

I think if I were living with a composer, there'd have to be a soundproof room where he could work. I find silence relaxing and I need a certain amount of it in order to remain sane.

P.S. My daughter (21) says that if Josh Groban showed up at her door and asked her to marry him---the answer would be yes.

I'm attracted to musicians in theory, but have never "been" with one, so I wouldn't know what it's like for real. I wouldn't mind listening to Mike Watt play bass all day.

Not me. I'd get annoyed really fast listening to him practice. Besides, the groupies would really bother me.
