The Goverments have agendas (thats not new) and I find the Media now does way more speculation when reporting to get a story out fast then taking the time to report facts. Do you think this is a disservice to us? I personally have stopped reading the paper and watching the news on a regular basis. Whats your opinion?

So rather than check facts on your own and form your own opinion on something you see or read, you've chosen to shut yourself off from events entirely? Where exactly are you finding out what's going on in the world now? Rumors spread on the street? Aliens?

Never, ever, EVER trust anything you see or hear, no matter who it comes from, even your own mother, without checking the facts. Media outlets are given wrong information by sources, and some are in fact biased and so ready to be "first" they aren't sure if they're actually correct. Not all of them are. There's no way to know which one is which, so check your facts, always.

It's not anti-newspaper/media to say that. It's common sense.

aahahahahahahahahaaa....trust our media and government? Yeah right...don't think so. I only read the weather online. Yes, this is a disservice to us. They are more concerned with what celebrity is going to jail than telling us exactly what our government is up to. The news should be on our side, but, we don't have control over the media. The government does. A horrible thing if you ask me. It's better to just turn off your tv.
