where can i find a soft floor which I can install under the swingset I purchased in walmart? it can be a rbber mat or anything else soft
that the kids wont hurt themselves if they fall.i am not sure what would work well. The ground in grass and rocks and it is a very big area. the swing set will not take up so much space. but any mulch can just scatter acrooss the whole area.

Pea gravel is a recommended, safe substance to use. It never decays and stays in place very well. Kids love it.

Try building like a big sandbox and sit the swing inside it. The sand will cushion any falls and the kids will have fun playing in it, too. 2 for the price of 1!!

Most contracters recommend doing the extra thin set under the backerboard- but its not really necessary. You can just screw the backerboard down into the floor joists. We just did that in our kitchen before we tiled and it came out great.

Our neighbors purchased a re-cycled rubber "mulch" for their play area. I would check with Home Depot or Loews or any site like that.

Your local home improvement store (Menards, Home Depot) have rubber mats they just for playground child protection. If you can't find what you are looking for search rubber mats on the web. They might be expensive but at lease you will find what you need.

Restaurant suppliers and ULine have rubber mats. What about wood shavings, available at feed stores.
