We are about30 and relocating from London to Sydney.
After living a nomadic life for almost four years it is time to look for a real home. We have been living in Sydney previously( glebe, coogee beach) What we have now in mind would include a couple of points:
-residential area but still a bit of an arty vibe
-reasonable propertyprices ( maybe a chance to be an upcoming suburb)
-good public transport , also into CBD(trains?)
-reasonably close to any beach(3km)
sounds pretty pragmatic, eh? Well its the ideal, but reality might look different.
Here is a bit of what we experienced in other suburbs before :
I found glebe quite nice but its just too far away from the shore and too expensive.
Coogee is great for a swim, but the occasional night out in the coogee beach palace hotel is just not what we think of
an inspiring event...
Surrey Hills is nice for arts and warehouseparties and so on, but too much surrounded by the city djungle...
Thats fairly it.Anyone got THE answer?pleeease!!!!!!!
