Women should have voting rights so their children are forced to do their own homework.

The more pertinent question is why should they not? Women are as capable and as intelligent as men. They should be considered the equals of men. Whether one is Brahmin or of the lowest class, one should have the vote, male or female. The only reasonable restriction is that children haven't the education nor the experience to be able to vote wisely - so under 18, no vote for either gender.

Voting rights of a Woman depends on countries' policies and religious affiliation of the society the woman belongs. As you rightly know in some society leadership largely depends on royal affiliation, nomination, and or through the use of force, as in military regimes so in these cases both Men and Woman do not have the voting rights.
In the society that believe in democracy, women must be given the rights to vote based on the following;
a. they are the custodians of our children there for, they deserve to depend their interest and that of their children
b. since they are allowed to participate in all fields of human endeavors there should be no any legal right to deter women from voting. etc.

Well first, women already do have voting rights..... They have voting rights because they are human beings and are productive members of society and should have the right to vote on governmental and societal issues.
