right a 4ft 6in bed take a double matteress. so what does a 5ft bed take. i know a 4ft 6in is classed as a double bed. is a 5ft classed as a king size or just a longer double bed does anyone know the standard size of a double bed king and king size please i need buy a be today day off work and doing it online so no sales men to help me he he

so im right to say 5ft is a king size bed so i will need a king size mattress yes. that sounds dumb i know. what i mean is that i have a double mattress at home not sure if that is ok or i need to buy a king size mattress for a 5ft bed if that makes sense. im in a rush so didnt typing fast and didnt think about spell check. :-) done it this time

YES YOU NEED A KING SIZE MATTRESS

90 cm single bed

135cm double bed

150cm King size bed

5ft is King Size, the next size up is Queen Size.

finished. I had a stressful time speaking my mom into letting me get an entire mattress as quickly as I moved into my new place. She concept it would make the situation look smaller. I in simple terms concept i might have company and what a discomfort this is for 2 people to proportion a twin.

King is 5' super king 5.6" anything bigger is bespoke

the size refers to the width.
