I have just been watching the old episodes of Jerry Springer on Living TV and it really looks like the shows were a case of bad acting!

I think so. If you listen carefully, right before the guests start to fight there is a ding-ding bell queuing them to start.

I would say you have good instinct that yes the Jerry Springer show is fixed

If you listen closely right before every fight there a bell as a qeue i know i probably spelled that wrong but oh well

I watched it for a while it was good for a laugh

That and what other talk show that anyones seen has the security right on the stage

That's another sign it's fixed too

Of course... It's filmed in Chicago and I was once an extra in an outside broadcast sequence. The guests are put up in a motel just off South Michigan Avenue, when I'm in town I often drink in a bar called O'Neills on Ohio (I think) just off the Michigan Avenue. I've occasionally seen a few contestants in there spending the money that NBC give them the deal is they get a night in the motel, expenses and have to ham it up the next day then they go home.

People said it was fixed, but sometimes I didn't believe them. Like, take for instance the one time the guy was hit on by a gay man on the show, then there was a murder over it after the show... That wasn't fake...

Yes they are fixed. That's why everything gets into control at the end of the show.

Course they are fixed. Saw the one about the two dwarfs fighting over a girl, and the bouncers were encouraging them to go for it.

I believe they are fixed - no one in the right frame of mind would want to go on National TV to air their dirty laundry - pity the Americans haven't picked up on this yet.
