Is "concrete" a Homogenous or Heterogenous Mixture?

Please help me out. I'm really confused. I've asked my teacher about this but he's also not sure.

Thanks!

A mixture, by definition consists of two or more elements or substances which do not react chemically.

A homogenous mixture will be difficult to separate by ordinary methods, for example a solution of sugar or salt in water, or a mixture of alcohol and water - all of them are mixtures but it is not easy to separate the sugar or salt or alcohol from water.

On the other hand sand and gravel also form a mixture but is fairly easy to separate these. Such mixtures are called heterogenous mixtures since on a smaller scale, the two or more components are not uniformly distributed.

Concrete is as you can see from the above, heterogenous. Sugar and water will be a homogenous mixture.

for me concrete is an example o f a homogenous mixture because you can see only 1 phase on that object

Colloids are mixtures whose particles are larger than the size of a molecule but smaller than particles that can be seen with the naked eye. Colloids are one of three major types of mixtures, the other two being solutions and suspensions. The three kinds of mixtures are distinguished by the size of the particles that make them up. The particles in a solution are about the size of molecules, approximately 1 nanometer (1 billionth of a meter) in diameter. Those that make up suspensions are larger than 1,000 nanometers. Finally, colloidal particles range in size between 1 and 1,000 nanometers. Colloids are also called colloidal dispersions because the particles of which they are made are dispersed, or spread out, through the mixture.

it is heterogenous . because it is not liquid and solid mixed together . thats why they stir it heavily to make it as homogenous as possible and also to avoid it to solidify.any mixture which is not liquid and solid (ions) solution is normally heterogenous .

concrete is a homogenous mixture because concrete appeares to be one thing not more than one i.e. its constituents cannot be senn separately
